Welcome

Welcome to Holy Trinity Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church. Holy Trinity was established in 1909 by Serbians that immigrated to the St. Louis region from Serbia to continue the teachings of St. Sava and our Christian Orthodox beliefs. These pioneers were spiritually strong and felt the need to cultivate their spiritual life while continuing their Serbian traditions.

There were great numbers of immigrants who arrived in 1949 after World War II and again in 1999 after the breakup of Yugoslavia. These forefathers raised their families to follow the Orthodox beliefs and today generations of American Serbs call St. Louis and Holy Trinity home.

Please enjoy our website and you are always welcome to join us for any activity listed on the site. We love the opportunity to meet new people and share our Serbian Spirit!

  Centennial  of Holy Trinity

Celebrate Holy Trinity Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church’s Centennial

Throughout the year, we will commemorate our Centennial Anniversary with lots of activities, culminating in a grand celebration on November 13,14,15, 2009.

In the meantime, keep these important items in mind:

  • Save the November 13,14,15, 2009 weekend for a fun-filled weekend of celebrating, remembering and reminiscing.
  • Dennis Eddleman will be taking family photos. If you are interested, please see Violet Niesen for details or call her at 314-894-8636.
  • To commemorate our Centennial, we are publishing a history book that documents our 100 years. If you are interested in placing a history of your family in the book, please contact Violet Niesen for details or call her at 314-894-8636. Cost for placement will be determined based on number of interested families. Please express your interest to Violet by May 31, 2009.
  • We are collecting old photos. If you have any photos that you think we could use in the history book or for display purposes, please see Violet. We will scan the photos and return them promptly.
  • We want to stay in touch with all current and former parishioners and friends. If you have the address and/or email of anyone we might not currently be in touch with, please provide those addresses to Georgia Relich at georgiar@charter.net or by calling 314-752-0734.

It’s going to be a fantastic year!!! Please be a part of this important celebratory year!!!
