Welcome

Welcome to Holy Trinity Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church. Holy Trinity was established in 1909 by Serbians that immigrated to the St. Louis region from Serbia to continue the teachings of St. Sava and our Christian Orthodox beliefs. These pioneers were spiritually strong and felt the need to cultivate their spiritual life while continuing their Serbian traditions.

There were great numbers of immigrants who arrived in 1949 after World War II and again in 1999 after the breakup of Yugoslavia. These forefathers raised their families to follow the Orthodox beliefs and today generations of American Serbs call St. Louis and Holy Trinity home.

Please enjoy our website and you are always welcome to join us for any activity listed on the site. We love the opportunity to meet new people and share our Serbian Spirit!

SERBFEST 2008

 AUGUST 9,2008 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

August 10, 2008  10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Come celebrate the 22nd annual SerbFest. SerbFest is a celebration of our Serbian heritage. It’s our chance to share with the community our culture and showcase our food, music and dance. Holy Trinity Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church has been a part of the St Louis landscape for 99 years. Our forefathers founded Holy Trinity so that they could have a place to worship and socialize and pass on Serbian Orthodox traditions to future generations. It is with great pride and respect that we invite everyone to come and join us August 9th and 10th for two days of fun, food and dance. Take a church tour and view our beautiful iconostat and hear the Very Reverend Father Radomir talk of Orthodoxy.

KOLO Serbian Folklore Dance Ensemble all the way from Canada will be performing Saturday and Sunday. Don’t miss this uplifting, exciting and energetic dancers perform the folk dances in traditional dress.

Taste the food prepared by men and women of the church such as lamb shanks – baked in a rich gravy or cevaps the wonderful spicy Serbian sausage. If you’re a kabob fan try our raznijci plate – pork kabobs seasoned to perfection. And no Serbian holiday or wedding is complete without Sarma – a blend of pork, beef, rice and seasonings rolled in cabbage leaves. Save room for dessert and try one the delectable cookie assortment or palacinka (Serbian crepes). No one will be able to resist Ustipci, a fried donut rolled in sugar, that will melt in your mouth and made fresh all day.
